A Banquet and Catering Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the set-up and clean-up of food and beverage during banquet functions and outside catering continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet and Catering Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the set-up and clean-up of food and beverage during banquet functions and outside catering continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Supervise food and beverage service throughout banquet functions and outside catering to ensure quality service and product quality
Assist with the planning, organizing and execution of all banquet functions and outside catering including, but not limited to, breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas, etc.
Greet and welcome client representative and guests, responding to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Supervise all phases of different banqueting functions and catering in coordination with other departments
Oversee and ensure that banqueting team members follow all service standards and departmental policies
· Be familiar with all current and upcoming event details

· Resolve team member and guest concerns quickly and efficiently

· Ensure compliance of Hilton brand standards

· Maintain exceptional levels of service with a continuous focus on improvements

Participate in and lead department meetings
Process banquet and catering checks accurately and efficiently for payment
Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations

A Banquet and Catering Team Leader is responsible for soliciting and responding to companies and organizations to purchase food and beverage, rent meeting space and ancillary services from the hotel. Coordinates the prompt, courteous and efficient delivery of those products to satisfy the customer’s service needs and to maximize the hotel’s profits.
