Job Description
As a Dry Cleaner you are responsible to ensure that laundry service, required by our Guest is done on time and with the highest possible standards.What’s in it for you:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideLearning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activitiesWhat you will be doing: Ensure that Guest service is met on time and those urgent requirements are done promptlyCheck all items for dry cleaning are correctly markedCheck and test garments for color fasteningCheck for any damage prior to dry cleaning processRefill chemicals, clean filters and service the machinesCheck, sort, segregate and test each article prior to dry cleaningOperate dry cleaning machine and press to ensure a high standard of dry cleaning and the correct operations are employedLoading and unloading of Dry Cleaning machines with correct loadsEnsure the proper operation of all machinery employed and report any defectsCarry out pressing, spotting and finishing of all garmentsKeep work area clean, neat and tidyDeliver finished articles to Valet according to the proceduresChange padding on machines when necessaryAssist and train other Laundry Employees in the process of dry cleaningReport any loss or damage of fixtures to SuperiorAssist in inventoriesOperate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environmentComply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
Previous experience in hotel industry is preferred.Experience in a similar role is preferred.Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.Ability to promote positive relations with all hotel guests & colleagues.Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
