Job Description
The PositionTo provide a consistent housekeeping service to guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, restaurants, public areas and circulatory areas that meets the hotel’s standards for cleanliness and presentation.                  KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESCleans and maintains areas of responsibility according to set standards and proceduresReplenish guest suppliesEnsure guests requests are promptly and courteously metReport damage or malfunction in hotel rooms/areas to SupervisorMaintain equipment in a proper state of cleanliness and repairMaintain a section room report as well as a daily productivity reportAttend daily briefings with supervisor and takes on daily assigned tasksReports lost and found articles to the housekeeping office immediatelyHandle guest complaints, reporting them to Supervisor immediatelyReport unusual behavior/activities in guestroom, floors/ public areas to SupervisorRecord room status in allocated section accuratelyComply with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policyAdhere to personnel grooming and hygiene standardsAttend meetings and training sessions as requiredCarry out valet services when required (e.g. delivery of linen, processing laundry orders)Fully understands the difference in guest levels (VIPs) and Room CategoriesMust adhere to all Lost and Found proceduresProper follow up of HK SOPsMust comply with all fire evacuation procedures and first aid trainingsMust comply with Hyde grooming standardsTo attend proper trainings and have best conduct at work
