Job Description

As an Assistant Guest Relations Manager, you will demonstrate the essence of creating an exceptional guest journey. You are committed to taking care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Front Office department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
  • Ensure employees are informed daily about priorities to personalize service
  • Creating memorable guest experiences for our guests with emphasis on our Loyalty Members, VIPs and celebrating special moments – creating memories.
  • Working closely with the Front Office team, driving the Accor Live Limitless program recruitment and being an ALL ambassador.
  • Management and oversight of our online reputation, responding to our guest feedback promptly and with professionalism.
  • Empower the Front Office team to be ALL Ambassadors & showcase 5 star guest service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the same field
  • Previous experience in an operational management position of a hotel
  • Passionate and optimistic leader with a collaborative management style/ self-motivated.
  • Ability to motivate colleagues and guide their development
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve guest complaints
  • Excellent interpersonal skills such as empathy and tolerance with a commitment to high ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Highly self-motivated as role is 100% guest facing with main vicinity covering lobby area
  • Results oriented and decisive, with the ability to evaluate different business considerations
